Once again the proud daddy!!
Finally a little brother just what he asked Santa for.....
I am not sure if Rachel knows what to think......
Eden loves him and all she wants to do is hold him...
Five years ago if someone would have said that this
would be me I would have laughed in their face. I didn't know
that my heart could be so full of love
Zeb came so fast that the nurses delivered him
the doctor didn't make it in time. I think that
his patience comes from me

In Asher's primary class they made Stripling Warrior vests.
After class his Grampa John brought him to us and he was so
excited to tell us that he was a "Stripping Warrior."
Asher went Potty in the middle of the night and this is how
his dad found him. When I asked him why he didn't go back
to bed he said, "My legs were so tired I could not make it
back to my bed."
This is Asher and Eden "being like Daddy" I couldn't convince
Asher that he had the helmet on wrong.
PUMPKIN CARVING NIGHT!!! Rachel wasn't interested
I don't think that Eden liked it very much
Proud Pumpkin owners
We had a good time at Rick and Ashlee's annual
Halloween Party between the Pinata and the bounce
house the kids had an eventful time. I liked it even
better because they wore themselves out and slept
great that night.
I am very proud to say that Eden Is following in her
mommy's footsteps. As for her choice of equipment
well... that is her following in her daddy's footsteps.
We had such a great night last night as Donnie and I put
together Asher and Eden's new big boy and big girl beds.
We put the more cautious one on the top bunk now all
that we are afraid of is him pushing his sister off.
Eden was so excited but it made me so sad to see that
my babies are growing up so fast!
It is little things like this that make me realize
just how much my little ones are like their daddy.
It is just like a Hewes to use their head in anyway
they can to get their point across.
We have had some major milestones in our house lately....
The first, as you can see, Rachel has started to crawl!
And we have had to start putting things up higher.
The second, Donnie started school yesterday!!!!
He was so nervous, I guess that is how it is when you
haven't been to school for 10 years.
We are so proud of him! GOOD LUCK DADDY!!!
I went to the doctor today and found out that the fourth little addition to our family is going to be a little Boy! The doctor said that everything looked great, all is developing right and everything is there. Eden was so excited to see pictures of her "brother baby." We are just glad that everything is looking good for him to come the 20th of December.
Eight years ago, I never thought that the red neck I met, while moving into a new area, on my mission would change my life forever.
Five years ago I married the love of my life in the Boston Temple. I was, as many others, surprised that we even lasted through our first year. Now Five years and 3 1/2 children later we are more in love with each other than we ever could have imagined.
My husband is the most thoughtful, generous, loving, honest, hard working, kind, and special person that could have ever blessed my life. He is a wonderful father and man, I look forward to forever with him. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY DONNIE!
Rachel has finally found her feet! This is usually the
position that you will catch her in these days.
I am not sure what the world is coming too. We go to California for a few days and all you know what breaks loose. Grampie is feeding her ice cream and her dad is letting her drive.
Asher spent almost three weeks in California with his Grammie and Grampie Hewes. One week he spent camping at the beach so his Grammie took these pictures. They said as soon as he saw the water he ran right for it and as soon as he actually touched it he turned around and came right back. Then it took some persuasion from his new "girlfriends" to get back in.
These are some of the many faces of Eden...
She loves to have her picture taken.....
She would just rather show her real ..........
Personality than just smile.
Rachel Marie Hewes came to us on the 30th day of January 2009. She made her arrival at 6:16 am. She wieghed 6 pounds 13 onces, and was 19 1/2 inches long.
Worlds best big brother
Asher LOVES being a big brother (to Rachel). He loves to help out, holding, feeding, kissing, and even changing diapers.
One of the worlds big sisters
And then there was Eden... I think she is a little jealous about not being the baby anymore. Eden likes to help out too, poking in the eye, hitting on the head, and shaking her sister. Plus I think that she just doesn't grasp the concept of gentle.
And now there are THREE
We do love our little ones no matter what. You do have to admit we make cute kids.
Long night
Being a dad has taught me more than any other experience that I have had, and I have had a few. The joy that is felt when you feel instant love. When a child is born you love them so quick you think "is it even possible to love so much so fast".
How could this not be worth it?
It was a very long night and the longest birth of all three of my children, but the result was a beautiful baby girl sent to us from our Heavenly Father. I didn't think that I could love anyone else but when I first saw this little girl I knew that I loved her and that the Lord loved me for trusting me with her.
"...he took their little children, one by one, and blessed them, and prayed unto the Father for them.... And he spake unto the multitude, and said unto them: Behold your little ones."
Asher had a big day on Sunday at church. He had his first day as a Sunbeam. It was also the first time that we have ever had a hard time getting him to go to Primary. Finally what got him to go was that his dad told him that they get to sing alot more songs in the big primary than in nursery. He is defenately his mother's son.
Eden also had a big day at church on Sunday, she is now in Senior nusery. Granted she spent most of the time in class with her mom. I think that the change in teachers was hard on her but who knows what runs through that little girl's head. She is defenately her father's daughter!
Trip to California
For Christmas this year our family went to California for ten days.
While we were there we were able to go visit a couple of the areas that Donnie served in on his mission.
We recieved the newest addition to our family before we came home, DAVIDSON, thank you Carol-Ann and Will.
The kids spent alot of time with their Grammie and Grampie and of course their cousin Dillon.
